Agency agreements and memoranda of understandings

We have agency agreements with different government departments. These have legal effect, and transfer various statutory functions, by agreement, from one body to the other.

We also have memoranda of understandings (MoUs) with a number of different government departments and agencies to promote effective coordination of the regulatory roles of each body, and effective cooperation between them.

They are not intended to be legally binding or to create expectations whose non-fulfillment would give rise to rights at law.
