Key results
- Rail fares in Great Britain increased by 2.4% in January 2020 compared with a 2.7% rise in the January 2020 Retail Prices Index (RPI).
- The average change in the price of regulated fares between January 2019 and January 2020 was 2.7%.
- Super Off-Peak fares showed the largest increase of 2.8% whilst Advance fares increased by 1.2%.
