Train companies’ overall customer service is making progress with better passenger information and delay compensation, but complaints handling must improve.

ORR has today published its annual report on Network Rail’s performance. We have also issued documents to support the company and governments’ planning for the 2019-2024 spending period.

ORR has today published its review of Network Rail’s performance in Scotland, showing that it has made good progress on improving punctuality but that ORR has serious concerns over its planning and delivery of enhancement projects.

The Annual Assessment of Highways England’s Performance by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR), published today, has found that the company is performing well against most of its performance targets. ORR says however that continued improvement is needed to plan when work takes place throughout the year.

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) has today published its Annual Report on Railway Health and Safety performance which shows passengers on the mainline railway continued to be assured of a safe journey on Britain’s railways. However, ORR identifies challenges which must be carefully managed if passengers and workers are to continue to be protected.
