Summary:
On inspection, significant corrosion on the cross member underneath the body of Blackpool Tram 634 on either side of the centre platform doors was identified. The East Anglia Transport Museum Society Limited failed to maintain the tram, so far as is reasonably practicable, in that the tram is structurally unsafe and could give rise to serious personal injury should the cross member fail during operation.

Description:
Persons are entering a confined space not in accordance with a system of work which renders that work safe and without risks to health. Channel Tunnel Group Ltd do not have suitable or sufficient arrangements for the rescue of persons in the event of an emergency, whether or not arising out of a specified risk. Workers are working in confined spaces and may become injured or incapacity and require rescue. The system of work is not safe and poses risks to health.
