We regulate Network Rail and other railway networks including the Channel Tunnel and High Speed 1.

Operator access to the network
If a railway operator wants to access the railway network, they have to apply to us for a track access agreement.
Operator licences & exemptions
We issue licences and licence exemptions to railway operators.
We are responsible for monitoring and enforcing the performance and efficiency of National Highways.
