On 9 April 2018, we published our conclusions to our September 2017 consultation and we also updated the original consultation letter so that it is now a regulatory statement.

The purpose of this consultation was to seek views on how ORR proposed to take into account the future operation of HS2 when making decisions about access to the existing network.

As part of our regular review of Access documentation in 2020, we have considered whether the 2018 HS2 Regulatory Statement needs updating. The principles contained within the statement remain valid. At this point the only new information is a change in the operation start date, therefore an update is not needed.
