Retail market review - consultation on the potential impacts of regulation and industry arrangements and practices for ticket selling

Date published: 3 September 2014
Closing date: 17:00 on 31 October 2014

The Retail Market Review, launched in early 2014, considers how regulation and industry practices and arrangements for ticket selling are facilitating choice and promoting investment and innovation in the best interests of passengers.

In September 2014, we undertook a consultation to seek stakeholders' views on the materiality and relevance of the potential issues and benefits associated with the regulation and industry practices and arrangements.

We are now undertaking further work and stakeholder engagement, with a view to consulting on some emerging findings regarding the impacts of the arrangements and the possible options to better capture the benefits and/or address the issues in the rail retail market. We expect to publish this document in late spring 2015.
